Sommet Center
The Sommet Center is Nashville's premier entertainment venue. As home of the NHL's Nashville Predators, as well as the site of everything from concerts to corporate extravaganzas, the Sommet Center has become an established part of downtown's skyline and culture.Since opening night in late 1997, more than 10 million guests have walked through its doors. The facility has played host to the biggest names in rock, pop, country, rap, and children's entertainment, everyone from the Harlem Globetrotters to Prince, Fleetwood Mac to Coldplay. Other events such as the CMA Music Awards, the SEC Basketball Tournament, and U.S. Figure Skating National Championships showcase the Sommet Center's popularity and versatility.
Whether it's 17,000 cheering on the Predators, 20,000 on their feet for Billy Joel and Elton John, or an intimate crowd of only a few thousand enjoying Martina McBride's Holiday show, people from all over the mid-South know the Sommet Center is one of the city's true landmarks.
